Kerim Çarmıklı (b. 1986, Istanbul) is a Turkish designer whose practice spans collectible design and sculptural object-making. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from the Chamberlayne School of Design at Mount Ida College in Newton, Massachusetts.

Trained in interior architecture and design, Çarmıklı approaches furniture, lighting, vessels and objects through an ongoing exploration of material, form, surface and process. Working primarily with bronze, aluminum, stone, wood, ceramic and glass, he develops each work through close engagement with material and craftsmanship. Many forms evolve through hand-modeling, experimentation and making, allowing texture, irregularity and traces of process to remain visible in the finished work.

His practice brings functional typologies into a more sculptural register, where material presence and form take precedence over convention. Through Artiscape, the independent design platform he founded, Çarmıklı develops limited-edition and unique works that form an evolving body of work defined by a consistent material and formal language.
